New This Year!

The Fremont Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the new Green Acres section of the Festival of the Arts, located on Paseo Padre Parkway. As the producer of the Festival, the Chamber is committed to making the Festival itself greener each year. We have created Green Acres as an area where sponsors can showcase their green products and services in order to help our community, as a whole, be greener.

Our first sponsors for this new venture are Clorox Greenworks, conducting product demonstrations; the Automobile Association of America (AAA) with their ‘green’ car; BART; and the Southern Alameda County Air Quality Resource Team, which includes organizations such as AC Transit, Enterprise Rideshare, and 511 Rideshare. Members of the Southern Alameda County Air Quality Resource team will be hosting the “Green Your Commute” booth, which will offer information on clean commute alternatives. This booth will create opportunities for Festival attendees to get real answers for their daily commute needs and information about commute alternatives.

The Fremont Chamber invites you to visit Green Acres and let us know what you think. Give us ideas for next year! Our hope is that this year the seeds have been sown and Green Acres will flourish and grow greener over the coming years.
