Over 650 Artists at the Fremont Festival

The Fremont Festival of the Arts is the major event of the summer for artisans throughout the West. Over 650 booths filled with unique, one of a kind pieces not easily found elsewhere draw return visitors who love the quality of art found here. Only handmade or handcrafted items are allowed to be sold at the festival.

Hand-crafted Art: The Heart of the Festival

Although the Fremont Festival of the Arts has grown and evolved over its twenty-eight years, the beautiful works of art presented by nearly 600 artisans are always the main attraction. Each year, the Festival is proud to welcome returning artists, whose loyal clientele seek them out year after year, and first-time participants whose work has been newly selected for inclusion.

Whether you are looking for a standout work of art for your home, an intricately designed piece of jewelry, a distinctive article of clothing, or that perfect gift for the holidays, you are sure to find it among the many unique hand-crafted creations that stretch over four walking miles of the Festival.

“The artistic integrity of our Festival has always been paramount to us,” said Cindy Bonior, president and CEO of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, producer of the Fremont Festival of the Arts. “We partner with professionals who have the expertise to carefully jury each artisan’s pieces to ensure that only quality, hand-crafted pieces are part of our show. It’s important that we offer our guests exceptional and distinctive pieces of art, at a variety of price points.”

Do you want to sell your art?

Artists and craftspeople are invited to call Terry Allie to reserve booth space at the west coast's largest free street festival. Terry can be reached at 650-348-7699.

But Wait, There's More

The Fremont Festival of the Arts is putting the call out for street performers. What's a street performer, you ask? A street performer can be a face painter, henna tattoo artist, or someone who provides on the spot artwork at the Festival.
