Hand-Crafted Art: Still the Heart of the Festival

Photo by Kenny KaneshiroDespite many changes and additions to the Fremont Festival of the Arts over its twenty-eight years, the beautiful and varied works of art offered by over 600 participating artisans remain the heart and soul of the Festival.

Whether you are looking for a standout work of art for your home, an intricately designed piece of jewelry, a distinctive article of clothing, or that perfect gift for the holidays, you are sure to find it among the many unique hand-crafted creations that stretch over four walking miles of the Festival.

“The artistic integrity of our Festival has always been paramount to us,” said Cindy Bonior, president and CEO of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, producer of the Fremont Festival of the Arts. “We partner with professionals who have the expertise to carefully jury each artisan’s pieces to ensure that only quality, hand-crafted pieces are part of our show. It’s important that we offer our guests exceptional and distinctive pieces of art.”

But Wait, There's More

The Fremont Festival of the Arts is putting the call out for street performers. What's a street performer, you ask? A street performer can be a face painter, henna tattoo artist, or someone who provides on the spot artwork at the Festival.
